The Beast Within
The beasts are everywhere. We’re in the 2050s and Europeans feel overwhelmed by the ever-increasing population of zoomorphs – the result of a failed early 21st century genetic experiment – living in the Federal European Union.
Ignored demands for social equality and violently crushed insurrection movements among other things have prompted zoomorphs to migrate to areas whose legislation is more favorable towards them. Tatiana, a former elite military officer and zoomorph from birth, has settled in the Alps to escape the repression in the East when she saves a young woman and her lycanthrope son, also driven away from their home by intolerance.
Their encounter is the beginning of a journey in the course of which Tatiana, sinking into desperation when her happiness is torn away from her, will try to survive and overcome human cruelty.
